Wearer: Avaira Vitality sphere and toric lenses are made from a new material (fanfilcon A), which features a higher water content (55 percent) as well as a high level of oxygen permeability and transmissibility, resulting in overall comfort for wearers. UV protection has been improved to Class I—the top rating—meaning the lenses now block more than 90 percent of UVA and 99 percent of UVB rays.

Avaira Vitality toric lenses feature CooperVision’s revolutionary toric technology—Optimized Ballast Design—which provides stability and optimal visual acuity. They will be available in a power range of +8.00D to -10.000D. The base curve is 8.5mm and the diameter is 14.5mm. Avaira Vitality sphere lenses feature powers from +8.00D to -12.00D. CooperVision will begin distribution of Avaira Vitality sphere fit sets and lenses in the U.S. this month. Avaira Vitality toric will be available beginning in December in a limited parameter range. The full power range is planned for 2017.
