NEW YORK—The American Optometric Association is now accepting nominations for the National Optometry Hall of Fame, which highlights luminaries in the field of optometry who have made a significant and long-lasting impact on the profession.

Nominees should be recognizable through their national stature whose balance of historical and current achievements will be considered. Diversity will be considered in the selection process, and nominations submitted should represent a nominee’s full range of contributions such as professional and academic leadership and research contributions along with other areas of significance.
