According to the practice, the event included round table discussions, continuing education for doctors and staff and an exhibit hall. “A total of 30 representatives from 19 vendors attended along with 147 employees and 21 doctors from all 14 of our office locations as well as the staff from The EyeDoctors surfacing/edging lab, recall center and insurance filing center,” The EyeDoctors said.
“The vendors representing frames, contact lenses, ophthalmic lenses and optical specialty items generously donated the many door prizes for the event including iPads, electronics and sunglasses which were given out during the exhibit hall hours,” said Brian J. Horsch, OD, president and CEO of The EyeDoctors, Optometrists.
Horsch added that the highlight of the meeting was a presentation by the Manhattan, Kan. office’s managing doctor Rick Schroeder, OD, and manager Vicki Bieberly entitled “Can I? I Can.” “It’s an acronym for ‘continuous and never ending Improvement,’” he said.
