FGX Shareholders OK Acquisition by Essilor; FTC Gives Nod to Essilor’s Acquisition of Signet Armorlite

SMITHFIELD, R.I.—Shareholders of FGX International Holdings Ltd. voted today to approve the proposed acquisition by Paris-based Essilor International, according to an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The merger is expected to be completed on or about March 12, according to FGX.
