SAN FRANCISCO—The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) is now using a new umbrella term, “Eye on Efficiency,” to describe its ongoing efforts to help its member ophthalmologists “prepare for the anticipated rise in patients needing eyecare, and deliver the best quality care,” according to an AAO spokesperson.
