LUXEMBURG—Gold & Wood has launched the Boucheron Eyewear Collection of optical and sun styles.
Released worldwide, the line is targeted toward men and women 40 years and older who enjoy Boucheron’s jewel inspiration and precious materials. The collection is positioned in the top of the luxury market with designs inspired exclusively by the line’s jewelry collection.
The favorite themes of the jeweler are expressed in four sub-collections of Boucheron Eyewear: Fusion, Ava, Froufrou and Plume de Paon. Fusion features sculptured lines with urban and graphic details. Ava takes its iconic inspiration from Ava Gardner, the legendary 1950’s Hollywood actress. Froufrou features hide and seek game between colors and ornaments, while Plume de Paon highlights the symbols of the Maison de Boucheron in oversized proportions.
Wood and horn are the heart of the Boucheron Eyewear collection in terms of materials, while gold and stones are equally present in the line. Color plays another important role with the extensive use of blackcurrant, red and gold, the traditional colors of Boucheron’s identity.
The new Boucheron Collection from Gold & Wood is priced to the dispenser from $275 to $650. ■
