Transitions President Brett Craig Adds VP Role at PPG

PITTSBURGH—PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) has appointed Brett Craig vice president, PPG, effective March 1. He remains president of Transitions Optical. Craig will continue to be based at Transitions Optical headquarters in Pinellas Park, Fla., and will report directly to Richard C. Elias, PPG senior vice president, optical and specialty materials.
Craig joined Transitions Optical in July 1999 as general manager/managing director, Asia/Pacific. In 2002, he was named general manager/managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In mid-2006, Craig assumed the role of chief operating officer and provided day-to-day leadership for the global business. In January 2008, Craig assumed his current role as president, Transitions Optical, in which he oversees more than 40 global offices and 10 manufacturing/services centers worldwide.
