NORTHVALE, N.J.—Avalon Eyewear has debuted the Norma Kamali Timeless Sunglass Collection.

“If you like something it’s because you feel like its an extension of who you are,” Kamali told VM. “I wanted to stress the importance of the classics and have more customers start to embrace the idea of a long-term commitment to a look as an extension of who they are.”

According to Kamali, sunglasses are all it takes to make a strong statement about your style and believes they, more than any other accessory, have the power to do so. As such, the Timeless collection is a curated assortment of sun styles for this purpose.

The collection includes cat eye styles, aviators, oversized glamour frames and modern vintage models, nine styles in all. Six frames are handmade zyl and come in black and Tokyo tortoise, while three metal frames are gold with bronze lenses and silver with silver caste lenses.

Avalon has an assortment of P.O.P. materials, as well as a tent card with model imagery which incorporate the ScanLife technology used in all of Norma Kamali’s retail locations. The ScanLife technology allows shoppers to use their smart phones to immediately download or view more information on the collection and brand.
