Pretty boys are all well and good but a ruggedly handsome man has an appeal all his own. In this edition of Bold Face we showcase three such august gentlemen and their masculine sun styles…


Dennis Quaid is one of Hollywood’s timeless actors, known for his charming smile and the charisma he brings to the silver screen. Whether it be comedy like “Yours, Mine and Ours,” action like “G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra,” horror or drama, Quaid can be relied on for a diverse number of roles. As, such the veteran actor is slated to star in three more films in 2011. He recently finished filming the action/drama flick “Soul Surfer” and is currently working on the “Footloose” remake and the drama, “The Tent.” Often cast because of his All-American good looks, which have only made him more distinguished with age, Quaid looks quite dapper here in the Lacoste L603S sunglasses from Marchon…












Actor Timothy Olyphant has often portrayed characters of questionable moral fiber; probably because he is so good at playing bad. Married to his college sweetheart and father to three little ones in real life he clearly has honed his craft to excel in his profession. Currently playing U.S. Marshal Raylan in the FX drama “Justified,” Olyphant may be playing someone on the right side of the law but nonetheless his character brings his own brand of justice as a modern day 19th century-style lawman. Jeremy Piven roles always have a certain “rough around the edges” appeal to them. He is one of those actors who you can imagine being not to dissimilar to many of the characters he portrays in real life. Sarcastic, deadpan and sporting an idiosyncratically charming smile, the usually unshaven actor has a rugged appeal all his own.
