Tura Inc. Names Scott Sennett CEO; John Weir to Retire
GREAT NECK, N.Y.—Tura Inc., a member of The Eschenbach Group, has announced a series of executive leadership changes. Scott Sennett has joined the company as president and CEO. John Weir, in preparation for his retirement, will remain in an advisory role through the end of the year. Keith Kamalich has been promoted to executive vice president.
Sennett was most recently president of the Oxford Apparel Group, now a division of LF USA, a subsidiary of Li & Fung Limited (HKG:0494). Sennett, whose appointment became effective Oct. 3, will have responsibility for the general management of the company including strategic planning, brand management, marketing, inventory, design, product development and new business development.
Sennett’s background includes over 24 years of leadership and general management experience in brand strategy, sales and marketing, licensing, merchandising, product development, supply chain and risk management. Previously, Sennett held senior executive positions with StyleMark, Lantis Eyewear Corp and Motive Eyewear. He is a graduate of Trinity College.

Kamalich, who has been vice president of sales, has been with Tura over the past 12 years, and will continue to oversee Tura’s sales force in his new role. He had previously held management positions with Lantis Eyewear and Marine Optical.
