Eyeking Signs License with Crocs, Inc. to Launch Crocs Eyewear in 2012

February 6, 2012 12:18 AM

PLAINVIEW, N.Y.— Eyeking, LLC announced that it has signed a license agreement with Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX), under which Eyeking will design, manufacture, market and distribute Crocs Eyewear in the U.S. and Canada. The first collection is slated for viewing and release in May 2012.

The Crocs Eyewear will feature an interchangeable patented Jibbitz hinge system which allows consumers to swap, mix and match sunglass faces and temples to create their own custom Crocs sunglass. The first Crocs Eyewear line, which will include adult and kids’ styles in a variety of colors will be available this spring in Crocs retail stores, Crocs.com and other national retail channels, the company said.

“We’re excited to have been chosen as the eyewear partner for the iconic and successful Crocs brand and is the perfect complement to the Crocs family--unique, comfortable, fun and value-driven,” said Shelly Goldman, president of Eyeking.

Crocs’ products are sold in 90 countries, more info is at www.crocs.com.
