NEW YORK—Paris is the kind of city that is more fun when you have company. In this latest edition of Bold Face: Paris for Two we share two celebrity pairs who enjoyed the “City of Light” à deux. Everything seems better in Paris, including the eyewear from Marchon, Selima Optique and Thierry Lasry.

Transitions Optical unveiled its new Vantage variable polarized lens during its 16th annual Transitions Academy meeting, held here last week which attracted more than 1,300 industry professionals from North America, Central America and South America. Attendees were treated to an in-depth look at the lens, which is the first to use a dye rather than a film to produce a polarizing effect. Other meeting highlights included a preview of a new communications campaign and the Transitions Academy Awards Recognition Event. For a look at these happenings and other high points, watch the slide show here.
