EMRlogic Updates activEHR with Real-Time CPT and Integrated Payment

BURNABY, British Columbia—EMRlogic Systems has announced two new alliances that have enabled it to upgrade its activEHR software for eyecare professionals. Its cooperative agreement with ReimbursementPLUS incorporates real-time CPT information and reimbursement data into activEHR. “The ReimbursementPLUS cloud-based system now connected within EMRlogic’s web-enabled activEHR displays critical CPT data and information that applies to the practice,” said John Rumpakis, OD, architect and developer of ReimbursementPLUS. “This is information that’s critical for doctors when making important business and clinical decisions throughout the day.”

In addition, through its cooperative agreement with PayPros, EMRlogic Systems can now offer a fully integrated payment solution within activEHR. “Our ongoing development of activEHR is all about providing the eyecare profession an advanced clinical and business solution,” said Dennis Ball, VP, software development, EMRlogic. “Our clients are concerned about not only protected health information but also security of personal financial information.”
