Southern California College of Optometry to Host Shared Visions Gala Auction and V-Awards

YORBA LINDA, Calif.—The Southern California College of Optometry will host the Shared Visions Gala Auction and V-Awards at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library here this week, on Sept. 20. Proceeds will go toward providing vision care and health care education to Orange County’s underprivileged children.

The Gala will kick off with a cocktail reception and silent auction of the SCCO Shared Visions Art Exhibit, which showcases works by blind or partially sighted artists. The evening will include dinner along with a special presentation of the V-Awards, a live auction, and musical entertainment. Sponsors of the event include Nvision, Essilor, Abbott Medical Optics, Vistakon, Alcon, Allergan, Retinal Institute of California, The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, PERC, Heine, VSP Global, Luxottica and Bausch + Lomb.
