Website Offers Free Optometric Practice Management Tips

GLENDALE, Calif.— Sterling has launched a new website at www.SterlingOD.com to assist in the management of optometric practices. The new site offers management tips, optometrist success stories and a practice management seminar available at no charge either online or on DVD.

Site visitors can sign up for weekly management tips on how to hire quality staff, how to motivate staff to increase productivity and how to schedule appointments for greater profitability. To introduce practice owners to a system that enables them to effectively manage their practices, the site also offers a free copy of the “Practice Solutions” DVD along with a complimentary consultation.

“Although optometrists are highly trained professionals, they are not necessarily taught how to manage a practice or staff,” said Barbara Wilson, president of Sterling. “As a result, many optometrists want to take practices to the next level but don’t know how. Others have issues finding and retaining good staff. Our goal is to help optometrists have better practices.”
