Sure there are a lot of celebrities out there in the world, but some of them are just in a whole other stratosphere of fame and talent. In this week’s Bold Face, we feature three such A-List stars and the eyewear that graces their famous faces…

Meryl Streep is regarded as one of the most talented actors of all time and is certainly no stranger to award shows. Streep is currently nominated for a 2013 Golden Globe in the “Best Actress, Musical or Comedy” category for her performance in Hope Springs. In the domestic comedy/drama, she stars as a discontented middle-aged wife who persuades her husband, played by Tommy Lee Jones, to go into intensive marriage counseling. Streep currently holds the record number of 27 lifetime Golden Globe nominations. That’s A-List if Bold Face ever saw it! Here Streep was snapped wearing the Jil Sander JS2681 optical style from Marchon while doing press for the movie. The Golden Globes air Jan. 13 at 8pm EST on NBC…



Any man declared “The Sexiest Man Alive” by People Magazine is immediately elevated to A-List status. Luckily Hollywood heartthrob, Matthew McConaughey, who nabbed the honor in 2005, was already on that list thanks to a wide and varied acting resume. Romantic/comedies, big screen action flicks, critically acclaimed dramas? Check, check and check. McConaughey has done them all and though he doesn’t have a long list of awards to his name, if buzz surrounding his latest project The Dallas Buyers Club is to be believed that may soon change. After all, McConaughey underwent a startling physical transformation to play Ron Woodroof, a man dying of AIDS in the movie and award committees love that kind of commitment. In the film, the actor wears the ClearVision Walter optical frames to portray the real-life electrician who contracted HIV in the '80s and who seeks treatment to prolong his life and the life of others…



They don’t get much more A-List than Oscar-winning actress, Angelina Jolie. The woman was named Hollywood's highest-paid actress by Forbes in 2009 AND 2011, for goodness sake! Not to mention her stunning beauty, enviable significant other, adorable family, humanitarian achievements and impressive list of acting awards. So, it’s no wonder the mother of six decided to take a little acting hiatus. Her next big screen role is as the title character in 2014’s Maleficent, based on the iconic Disney villain from the Sleeping Beauty tale. In the movie Elle Fanning plays Princess Aurora, while Jolie’s real life children, Vivienne and Zahara, also make appearances. In fact, Jolie was recently spotted out with her children and fiancé Brad Pitt while wearing the Dolce & Gabbana DG 2106K sun style, part of the Gold Edition, from Luxottica.
