VSP to Open Manufacturing Facilities in Minnesota and Hawaii

By
RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.— VSP Optics Group will open two new VSPOne Optical Technology Centers, one in St. Cloud, Minn., and the other in Hawaii. The new facilities are in response to increasing market demand for VSP’s Unity Performance Optics products in those regions, according to the company. A VSP spokesperson told VMail that both will open in the next couple of weeks.

The Minnesota and Hawaii facilities expand the VSPOne Optical Technology Center network to a total of nine locations. The other locations are in Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Sacramento, San Diego, Tampa Bay, Columbus, Ohio, and Olympia, Wash.

“We are constantly looking for opportunities to improve and deliver products and services to our doctors and their patients,” said Don Oakley, president of VSP Optics Group. “VSPOne will leverage the latest open source manufacturing technologies combined with local service to bring our UNITY portfolio of products to these markets.”
