PLEASONTON, Calif.— CooperVision, Inc. has appointed Andrew Sedgwick to the new role of executive vice president of commercial strategy and business development.

In this role, Sedgwick will be responsible for CooperVision’s long range strategic plan, product life cycle management, business development and professional services, the company said. Sedgwick has served in a variety of roles within the company, most recently as president of the Americas for CooperVision

Sedgwick began his new role in mid-June. He is based at the CooperVision headquarters here.
