All of the actresses featured in this week's Bold Face have wildly successful careers but that doesn't mean they also haven't had some disappointments. Check out the sun styles of three beauties that were on TV shows that were brilliant but cancelled...

It was announced on July 18 that Laura Dern is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards for her role as Amy Jellicoe on HBO's comedy-drama series, Enlightened. Great, right? Too bad HBO cancelled the show after its second season. Bummer. If you get a chance to Netflix it, the show is about a self-destructive woman (Dern) who tries to get her life back together after her professional life implodes and she experiences a philosophical awakening in rehab. Well, at least Dern has that Emmy nom and these great Chloé CE604S sunglasses from Marchon...

To many Debra Messing will always be Grace Adler from Will & Grace. But the talented actress has had two great series since then, The Starter Wife and Smash, both of which were cancelled. The Starter Wife, despite its popularity, was wildly expensive to produce and fell victim to the economy, while Smash, entertaining and full of talented cast members, apparently had all sorts of conflicts among the production and writing staffs. No doubt Messing will find herself another project soon that will utilize her immense skills and if nothing else her last show did introduce her to her current boyfriend, Will Chase, another actor on Smash. The two attended a pre-Tony Awards cocktail party in June where she wore these Tres Tres sunglasses from L'Agence by Sama Eyewear...

Our last one is an oldie but a goodie. From 1999-2002, Katherine Heigl played Isabel Evans in Roswell, a science fiction television series about three teen aliens and their human friends, who attend high school in Roswell, New Mexico. Isabel, her brother Max and their friend Michael appear to be human but in reality are the survivors of the 1947 UFO crash known as the Roswell UFO incident. Upon emerging from stasis pods, they appeared to be 7-year-old orphaned humans; a young Bold Face was a fan. Heigl has gone on to appear in successful series like Grey's Anatomy and movies like Knocked Up and 27 Dresses, but Bold Face will always of a soft spot for Roswell. Here Heigl wears the Hogan 0001 sunglasses from Marcolin.
