STYLE: Bold Face Bold Face: Men for Real By Deirdre Carroll Friday, June 7, 2013 12:05 PM Bold Face explores the cult of celebrity and the styles, trends and brands that stars show off in movies, at events and living their daily lives. To be considered for inclusion please contact senior editor, Deirdre Carroll. Hotter than the scorching sun! Better looking than a Greek God! Able to ensnare ladies’ hearts with a single glance! Needless to say, the three handsome men in this week’s edition of Bold Face are very easy on the eyes... The incredibly handsome Henry Cavill will make his major U.S. lead role debut in the highly anticipated Superman origin story, Man of Steel. As the iconic character, Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman, the movie follows the character from his birth and landing on Earth to his coming to adulthood and struggling to find his place in light of his unique powers. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Superman movie if the Earth didn’t suffer from some threat that he must protect us from and thusly earn his place as our hero. Man of Steel hits theaters on June 14. Bold Face needs to be protected by how insanely attractive Cavill is in a tuxedo and these Salvatore Ferragamo SF118SL sunglasses from Marchon... Any lady who is child of the 90’s will always have a soft spot for Jared Leto thanks to his turn as Jordan Catalano in the teenage drama My So-Called Life. Time has been very kind to Mr. Leto, in fact he still has all his boyish good looks. Now 41, he has also continued to have a varied and critically-acclaimed acting career, as well as continued success with his band, 30 Seconds to Mars. Soak in all his handsomeness now wearing these BOSS 0477s sunglasses from Safilo, because next up for the actor is a role as a gaunt HIV-positive, transsexual in the upcoming movie The Dallas Buyer's Club, set to be released February 2014... Mmmmmm... Ryan Reynolds... such an attractive man. In fact People magazine named him their “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2010 and you can’t argue with People! Though his film roles have been all over the place, from action movie to rom-com to animated feature, his rising profile in Hollywood cannot be denied. On July 19 (Bold Face’s birthday!), his latest film, R.I.P.D., hits theaters. It’s about a detective named Nick Cruz (Reynolds) who is murdered in action then taken to join an undead police division, the R.I.P.D or the Rest In Peace Department, a department of dead police dedicated to protect and serve the living from evil spirits who refuse to move into the afterlife. Thankfully, Reynolds is still very much alive here in his superhero blue and the Tom Ford Snowdon (FT0237) sunglasses from Marcolin.
