Despite blondes having a reputation for being less intelligent, women the world over have long been lightening their locks. In this edition of Bold Face, we feature three fair-haired ladies who are proving that serious sun style takes beauty and brains…

Beth Behrs stars as heiress turned waitress, Caroline Channing, on CBS's 2 Broke Girls. The comedy series, currently in its second season, follows unlikely friends and Williamsburg roommates Max and Caroline. Behr’s character was born rich and has an Ivy League education, but after her father is arrested as the ringmaster of a Ponzi scheme, Caroline is left broke and woefully unprepared for the real world. After befriending a street smart cynic, the "two broke girls" are waitressing and working towards their dream of opening a cupcake shop. Reminiscent of Caroline before the fall, Behrs is looking glamorous in the Valentino V611S sun style from Marchon

Despite an Oscar win at age 11, Anna Paquin is best known for her role as Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO series True Blood. A part-fairy waitress with the ability to read minds and a penchant for falling in love with vampires, Sookie is equal parts naïve Southern charm and tough as nails survivor. Smarter than she looks and a whole lot more durable, Paquin will reprise her role as Stackhouse for the show’s sixth season this summer. While on hiatus, the actress gave birth to twins with husband and True Blood co-star, Stephen Moyer. Perhaps the lack of sleep that undoubtedly comes with two newborns is the reason she is wearing these dark and sexy Cutler and Gross 0886 sunglasses…

On Dec. 17, 2012, Gossip Girl broadcast its series finale on the CW network. Actress Kristen Bell, who had long been the salacious narrator of the series, actually made a cameo as herself despite the fact that she is not revealed as "Gossip Girl." Even though her voice has uttered the flippant words "And who am I?! That's one secret I'll never tell. You know you love me… XOXO, Gossip Girl," during the finale, it is revealed that Dan Humphrey is in fact "Gossip Girl." No longer the "one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite," Bell, who is expecting her first child with fiancée Dax Shepard, still looks Upper East Side cool wearing her Ray-Ban 3322 sunglasses from Luxottica.
