We are in that weird time of year when summer TV shows are coming to an end and our fall shows haven’t yet begun, so for this edition of Bold Face we are saying hello/goodbye to a few of our favorite faces from TV…

Dot Jones currently plays Coach Shannon Beiste on Glee. Coach Beiste is a hard, takes no prisoners kind of coach and has led the McKinley High School football team to several wins, so it is no surprise she looks so at home in these Nike Vintage EV0602 sunglasses from Marchon. A former arm wrestling champion (she is a 15-time World Campion!), Jones has appeared in several television shows including; Married… with Children, Nip/Tuck and Prison Break and recently received a Emmy nomination for her role on Glee. The 2011 Emmys will air on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 8pm and Glee comes back for its third season on Tuesday, Sept. 20…



Elizabeth Mitchell played FBI agent Erica Evans in the ABC show V. Evans discovered that the visiting aliens were actually reptilian humanoids wearing pseudo-human skin who have come to take over the Earth. She joined the resistance movement and got to wear these pretty awesome John Varvatos 103 sunglasses from Base Curve to kick some lizard butt. So what will happen next? Well, that is a tough question. ABC cancelled the show in May, but a fan campaign called "Project Alice" is petitioning Warner Bros. to renew the series on a different network. There is just something undeniably appealing about a spy. Perhaps it’s their charm, their air of danger or their ability to adapt to any situation? Or maybe it’s just their complete need for secrecy and inherent unavailability we find so appealing? Regardless, we like them. In fact, we like them so much we have made USA Network’s Burn Notice, about a “burned” spy, one of the highest rated drama series on cable. The cast off spy, Michael Westen, who is trying to return to his prior spy career, is played brilliantly well by actor Jeffery Donovan, seen here in the Dante frames from Sama Eyewear. The summer finale of Burn Notice airs Sept. 8, but have no fear. A 6th season has already been ordered…



Heidi Klum is not just a pretty face. She is a model mogul! A model, actress, businesswoman, fashion designer and occasional singer, not to mention wife and mother of four(!), it’s shocking she still finds time to go for a run. Which is exactly what she did here while wearing the Carrera 12/S sunglasses from Safilo. But Klum is perhaps most recognizable now as producer and host of the wildly popular Lifetime fashion reality show, Project Runway. The show is currently in the middle of its ninth season and with 10 contestants left we still have some time to go until we have to stay auf wiedersehen to the show. But even then we have the Project Runway All Stars season to look forward to!
