LAS VEGAS—Labapalooza, one of the lab industry’s most anticipated parties of the year took place here in the Venetian Hotel on Sept. 6. The annual celebration paid tribute to wholesale laboratories with a line-up of festivities, including a preview of the much anticipated Vision Monday’s Top Labs Report, LabTalk’s Web Site of the Year Awards and the Trash to Treasure Finishing Pad Contest. The party featured live music entertainment courtesy of Andy and The Generators as well as cocktails. Labapalooza was presented by Vision Monday and LabTalk, and the Optical Lab Division of The Vision Council, and was sponsored by Schneider Optical Machines, Shamir, Transitions Optical, X-Cel Optical, iCoat, Salem Vision, FlexLink, Essilor of America, Santinelli International and Coburn Technologies.


   
Andy and the Generators performed famous lab hits including Free-Forming and Taking Care of Lab Business.
 Vision Monday announced the 2012 Top Labs at the Labapalooza party.
   
 Winners of the Web Site of the Year and the Top Ten Optical Laboratory Web Sites were awarded by LabTalk magazine.
