Optical retailers, eyecare practices, labs and suppliers in the Tri-State region were more than preoccupied earlier this month recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy. While many suppliers in the region are back on track, at presstime complications after the storm were still hampering recovery and operations for some eyecare practices in some hard hit parts of New Jersey, Long Island, N.Y., Southern Connecticut and New York City.
