NEW YORK—Last month, Safilo Group invited fashionistas and optical industry professionals alike to their annual “Celebrate Summer Solstice” promotional event with Solstice Sunglasses. Held at Solstice’s Flatiron location here, this year’s event featured the tagline “Chase the Sun” to highlight the start of summer and the season’s latest sunglass offerings.

On the scene, Safilo USA events team members toasted celebrities and guests and assisted attendees with choosing a complimentary pair of designer shades to take home from a selection in the store.

Notable guests included actor Stephen Baldwin, daughter Hailey Baldwin, super models Chanel Iman and Damaris Lewis, celebrity stylists/fashion personalities Phillip Bloch and Robert Verdi, and Alexandra Richards, celebrity DJ and daughter of The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards. ■
