CINCINNATI—Super Systems is unveiling its new FastCoat system at Vision Expo East. An affordable in-office lens hard coating system designed for small to medium-sized independent eyecare practices, FastCoat can be combined with Super System’s FastGrind in-office lens surfacing. This expands the FastGrind’s range by allowing eyecare professionals to offer polycarbonate lenses, thereby creating a new profit center. It also saves on lab bills, Super Systems noted.

The compact FastCoat system is an alternative to bulky, expensive hard coaters. The system, which measures 27 inches by 24 inches by 27 inches, fits on a countertop. FastCoat makes utilizing FastGrind more appealing than ever before by offering a wider variety of quality products.

According to Super Systems, FastCoat is easy to use. It is manually operated, and minimal training is required. Super Systems offers a short video tutorial. ■
