RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—Managed vision care company, Superior Vision has added another regional sales manager, Cory Rodgers, to the seven it already added earlier in the year. Rodgers will focus on growing Superior Vision’s presence in Georgia and northern Florida. Based in Marietta, Ga., Rodgers has more than ten years of sales and insurance experience, most recently with Colonial Life, and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Georgia.

The regional sales managers who also joined Superior Vision this year were Julie Zola, covering Oregon, Nevada and New Mexico; Rob Fratianne, focusing on Ohio and West Virginia (both announced in VMail on Nov. 19, 2012); Rob Veatch, whose territory includes Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and northern Wisconsin; Steven Ashcraft, covering Louisiana and Oklahoma (both in VMail Sept. 26, 2012); Jorge Acosta, managing sales in Florida; John Baker, focusing on the mid-Atlantic region; and Sam Crisp, covering North Carolina and Southern Virginia (all three announced in VMail March 5, 2012).

That brings Superior Vision’s total number of regional sales managers to 14 with a total sales force of 19. “Our goal for 2012 was to hire regional sales managers in regions that Superior Vision had historical success, had a strong provider network, and that were strong metropolitan areas from a business perspective,” a Superior Vision spokesperson told VMail.
