SAN DIEGO— Vision West, Inc., a premier ophthalmic practice management and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) announced the completion of the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Oceanside, Calif. to San Diego, Calif.

The new larger facility, located at 15970 Bernardo Center Drive, is in the Rancho Bernardo business park area and will accommodate the company’s current staff and enable further growth with the additional square footage, the company said.

The new 10,000 square foot facility provides Vision West additional meeting space and enabled upgrades with state of the art telephone systems and Cloud-based IT networks to provide even better customer service to its member base. “Vision West continues to grow and strengthening our organization is in line with our commitment to provide the best GPO services and full discount vendor offerings to independent eyecare providers while supporting organized optometry,” said Joseph C. Mallinger, OD, CEO and president of Vision West.

Founded in 1988 by the California Optometric Association, Vision West is privately held. Vision West provides members with competitive discounts and programs with more than 250 vendor partners. Vision West continues the policy of no membership fee or requirements of a minimum purchase volume.
