NEW YORK—After a 20-year hiatus and rethinking Vuarnet from the ground-up, the company has reintroduced itself back into the market. Providing eye protection since 1957, Vuarnet is re-launching offering high quality, timeless and contemporary sunglasses.

Still made in France since 1957, Vuarnet offers its “pure” optical quality mineral and mineral polarized glass lenses to deliver the highest performing sunglass available today, the company said. Targeted toward fashion forward consumers, the line debuts with new lenses for the U.S. launch and includes various sunglasses styles reflective of current trends.

“Vuarnet will strive to offer the heritage of yesterday entwined with the technology of tomorrow that will have maximum comfort, wear and protection,” said the company.

The Skylynx is an amber-based mineral glass lens with a double-gradient silver mirror, while the Citylynx is a grey-based mineral glass lens with double-gradient silver and blue mirror. The Polarlynx is a brown-based mineral glass lens and the Px3000 is a grey/green-based mineral glass lens. All offer anti-reflectant treatment, hydrophobic and oliophobic treatments.
