Monday, May 16, 2016 1:28 AM NEW YORK—The collective estimated sales of the Top 10, as a proportion of the Top 50 U.S. Optical Retailers, is pronounced, as it’s been for the past several years. Based on calendar year 2015 estimates, the Top 10’s share of the Top 50 amounted to 86.3 percent of the Top 50’s total. This was on par with the 86.1 percent share of last year’s Top 10.

Having opened 53 new stores in 2015, Shopko recently announced the opening of 10 new Shopko Hometown stores, bringing the total number of stores opened this year to 12.
