Several optometrists affiliated with National Vision are
celebrating at least five years of service with the company,
and they were recognized at an awards dinner held
during the company’s annual CE symposium.
CHICAGO—At its annual continuing education symposium held here earlier this month, National Vision Inc. recognized 115 optometrists affiliated with the company for service milestones, which ranged from five to 25 years. The honorees were presented with awards in front of more than 700 of their optometry peers at an awards dinner, which was held during the retailer’s annual CE symposium.

The 115 optometrists have dedicated a combined total of 900 years of service to practices affiliated with National Vision and its family of national retail brands, according to an announcement.

The number of ODs in each category of years of service are:

  • 5-Year Service Award: 66 Doctors
  • 10-Year Service Award: 40 Doctors
  • 15-Year Service Award: 4 Doctors
  • 20-Year Service Award: 3 Doctors
  • 25-Year Service Award: 2 Doctors

“For the past decade, our North Star has been that National Vision is striving to create environments where great optometrists want to spend their entire career," chief executive officer Reade Fahs said in the announcement. “This special group of optometrists, who have spent their career with us, is a testament to the sort of talented, caring optometrists that make up our community at National Vision.”
