TURIN, Italy—The board of directors of Italia Independent Group S.p.A. (IIG –AIM Italia/MAC) have announced the group's financial results as of Sept. 30, 2015.

According to the company, the group remained in a growth phase, with consolidated sales increasing 26 percent in the first nine months of 2015 compared to the first nine months of 2014, at €30.94 million, mainly due to growth in the eyewear sector both in Italy and abroad.

The company stated that its net financial position, reflected a loss of €24.30 million compared to a loss of €19.53 million at June 30, 2015, which the company attributed to the financing of foreign branches and the higher supply of goods related to revenue growth.

"2015 is proving to be a year of achievements for Italia Independent Group, having reached, on the one hand, the ambitious growth targets that we had set, and on the other hand having laid the foundations for a further important development for the coming years, also thanks to the agreement signed in recent months with Adidas Originals," said Andrea Tessitore, Italia Independent Group’s co-founder and CEO.
