Neglected Tropical Disease (NTDs) are a group of treatable and preventable diseases that continue to affect over 1.5 billion of the world's most impoverished, marginalized people living in remote communities. Despite their prevalence, they get little attention or coverage. The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene is partnering with the Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network (NNN) to launch a photo competition to find the most engaging photographic representation of the work being done to prevent, control, treat and eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) around the world. The competition is open to all, but more specifically those in the field of tropical medicine and global health. The winners will be announced and exhibited at the NNN conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 24-26 September 2018. The overall winner will win a cash prize of £500 and the chance to be on the cover of RSTMH’s journal, International Health. Read More.
