Von Miller congratulates a student on the new eyewear he received at last week’s Von’s Vision event in Centannial, Colorado.

DENVER, Colo.—On July 11, two-time Super Bowl world champion, Denver Broncos football legend and current Buffalo Bills defensive end, Von Miller, returned to the Mile High City to host his 3rd annual ‘A Night to Take Flight’ fundraising event at Jet Linx Aviation in Centennial, Colorado. All net proceeds will benefit Von's Vision and its mission of providing low-income students with eye examinations and fashionable, corrective eyewear they need to be their best in the classroom and in life.

The event was presented by Hero Practice Services and Schomp Subaru. Miller was joined by his friends and current members of the Denver Broncos: Bradley Chubb, Brandon McManus, Albert Okwuegbunam, and McTelvin Agim. Guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour on the tarmac as they took pictures and received signed memorabilia from Miller and their favorite Broncos players in attendance.

The event emcee, Brandon Krtisztal, from KOA Colorado, had a sit-down Q&A session with Miller during the event where he talked about the 10th anniversary of Von’s Vision Foundation, the impact of the Foundation over the years, and the upcoming plans for his charity foundation, which is to expand the foundation’s programming into rural cities of Colorado to make free eye exams and fashionable glasses more accessible to children in need.

Since its inception, Von’s Vision has provided over 8,500 students with free eye exams and fashionable glasses across 19 cities in 9 different states. The Foundation will continue to serve nationwide with Colorado being its home base.
