NEW YORK—Vision for a Nation and Adlens, chose World Sight Day to launch Project Oversight, an initiative aimed at helping providing eyecare to 2.5 billion people around the world suffering from poor vision. James Chen, the philanthropist and investor who is behind both organizations, hosted a party at The Glass Houses on Manhattan’s West Side to announce Project Oversight and explain his “patient philanthropy” approach to “social transformation.”
