COA/COT certification OR equivalent experience

We are looking for self-motivated, goal oriented, and career minded person with a desire to launch a career as an Ophthalmic Technician. Required Abilities:

Recording an accurate medical history, measuring and recording visual acuity and pupillary response, assessing ocular motilities, lensometry, performing Goldman applanation tonometry, set up of minor procedures and performing accurate refractions (retinoscopy a plus). Previous experience with EMR and Mac computers is also a plus but not required.

Candidate must be able to express a caring attitude while performing tasks required with accuracy and efficiency. Candidate must have  COA/COT certification OR equivalent experience working in Ophthalmology.
