NEW YORK—The Accessories Council has announced its first round of honorees for the 19th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards (2015 ACE Awards).

The 2015 ACE Awards will present Ariel Foxman, editor-in-chief of InStyle Magazine with the Marylou Luther Journalism Award; Ivanka Trump, real estate developer and entrepreneur with the Breakthrough Award; Claudio Gottardi, president and CEO of Marchon Eyewear with the Leadership Award; Mitchells with the Specialty Retailer Award; Moda Operandi with the Retail Innovation Award; Nancy Gonzalez with the Innovation Award and Swarovski with the Legacy Award.

“We look forward to announcing additional honorees and a star-studded roster of presenters, hosts and attendees,” said Karen Giberson, Accessories Council president. “With over twenty years of progress in growing and advocating for an important sector of the fashion industry, we have a lot to celebrate.”

The ACE Awards are the hallmark event for the council which serves the $50 billion a year accessories industry. Honorees are selected for making significant contributions to furthering the awareness and use of accessories and are nominated and voted upon by their peers in the accessory industry, retailers, the Accessories Council board of directors and the fashion press.

The awards will be presented on Nov. 2, 2015 at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC.
