KANSAS CITY, Mo.— OWL, Advancing Diversity Leadership, has added Michael Onuscheck and Erin Schallhorn to its board of directors. In addition, the not-for-profit organization, also added William B. Trattler, MD, to its membership committee. He joins the organization as membership advisor.

Onuscheck is the global franchise head, surgical for Alcon. Before he joined Alcon, Onuscheck spent 10 years in leadership positions at Boston Scientific—including his most recent position as president. He also held various management positions at Medtronic in spinal reconstructive surgery and stereotactic image guided surgery.

Already serving the ADL as the head of the programs committee, Schallhorn is also the executive vice president of The Fundingsland Group. Prior to joining The Fundingsland Group, Schallhorn held various product and medical marketing positions at VISX/Abbott Medical Optics (AMO) and Alcon.

Dr. Trattler is director of cornea at the Center for Excellence in Eye Care located in Miami. Trattler is a nationally renowned expert in refractive, corneal and cataract eye surgery, an author, a volunteer assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and he sits on various advisory boards.
