ORLANDO, Fla.—The American Optometric Foundation (AOF) announced the 2016 Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care program recipients.

The award recognizes fourth-year student clinicians who have demonstrated outstanding overall knowledge of the contact lens field as well as skillful, considerate and professional care of contact lens patients during their optometric education.

Each of the winners will receive a $500 educational award and a personalized plaque.

The American Optometric Foundation said in a statement, “AOF is thankful for the professional relationship between the foundation and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. Their outstanding support to raise the bar of optometric education to a new level is a remarkable reminder of their ongoing commitment to industry high standards.”
