Avesis Hires Roger Watson as Vice President of Sales for National Accounts


OWINGS MILLS, Md.— Avesis, a national vision, dental and hearing care program administrator, has hired Roger Watson as vice president of sales, national accounts. He will be responsible for the large employer market and growing the company’s ancillary benefit solutions to commercial, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Health Plans.

With over 22 years of national sales and senior management experience, prior to joining Avesis, Watson served as VP, client development, national accounts – specialty benefits for UnitedHealthcare where he was responsible for marketing, sales and operations activities. Preceding this position, Watson spent several years as regional VP of sales for both Superior Vision Services and VSP. “As Avesis continues to grow, Roger possesses the necessary background of having worked for innovative, rapidly expanding companies and knows what it takes to align both sales and operational functions as we look to keep pace with growing demand for our ancillary benefit solutions,” said Alan Cohn, CEO of Avesis.
