PADUA, Italy— Safilo Group has announced that Ross Brownlee, corporate head of Safilo North America and president of Solstice retail stores, will leave the company effective June 30, 2014 after 17 years of service with the company.

“We thank Ross for his many contributions over the years,” said Luisa Delgado, CEO of Safilo Group. “He has been an important influence on our business throughout his career, and we wish him the very best of success going forward.”

During his tenure at Safilo, Brownee held a number of different postions including managing director of Safilo Far East. He will not be replaced. Glenn Rusk, commercial head of North America, will continue in his role, as a member of Safilo’s Global Leadership Team.
