NEW YORK—Show organizers report that numbers are tracking well for this year and they’re seeing a 10 percent increase in continuing education—more attendees, particularly ODs, are seeing the value of coming early to take courses. Deborah Castor, vice president of shows, The Vision Council, said “Vision Expo East caters perfectly to both the classroom and show floor experience. This year is affirming a growing trend of Vision Expo attendees recognizing the value of arriving early to take advantage of CE, which is so closely tied to what they can see in the exhibit hall.”

As of yesterday, some 31,384 badges had been distributed, demonstrating significant attendance at Vision Expo East by everyone from exhibitors, to press, to educators and eyecare professionals, making Vision Expo East an event with a diverse representation, show organizers said.
