Latest News Energeyes Announces Ignition Program for All Members to Better Prepare Practices in Medical By Staff Wednesday, November 23, 2016 12:18 AM PETALUMA, Calif—Energeyes Association is now launching an Ignition Program for all of its members in response to the need for information necessary to participate as a medical service provider, namely the implementation of electronic medical records (EHR), clearing house services for billing and credentialing on important insurance panels. The Ignition Program will provide an EHR system, clearinghouse services and credentialing for Medicare and Medicaid for one year to substantially launch practices as they integrate these medical services into their practices. Energeyes, now with over 700 members, has been working to identify the right partners for their corporate-affiliated members. “We have worked with a number of EHR and clearinghouse companies and have determined that RevolutionEHR coupled with clearinghouse services is the right partner for our members,” stated Dr. Eric Botts, president of Energeyes. “Each partner has worked to provide the association a license pre-purchase that will enable the association to realize our goal of having every member on an EHR system with medical coding and billing in place by our next national meeting.” Additionally, corporate affiliated doctors would need to join the association to have access to the Ignition Program along with many additional benefits. “We are also putting this program into place because it is a necessary ingredient for our multi-location training which we will be rolling out by year’s end,” said Dr. Vincent Facchiano, board member and chair of the multi-location training committee.Energeyes Association, a 501(c)6 non-profit association formed in September 2013 is dedicated to the support and development of all optometrists working with a professional optical retailer.
