MONTREAL—Essilor Canada announced that Christophe Perreault has been appointed as president, effective immediately. Perreault previously served as chief financial officer of Essilor Canada and has held several leadership positions within Essilor International throughout his eight-year tenure with the company. “Christophe was an obvious choice to lead Essilor Canada, bringing both a deep strategic understanding of our company and our operations, a sound financial background, as well as an unwavering commitment to Essilor’s mission of improving lives by improving sight,” said John Carrier, chief operating officer, Essilor International.

Perreault succeeds Barbara Heffez-Piper who will join the team responsible for the Essilor and Luxottica integration in North America.
