FRANKLIN, Tenn.—BlephEx LLC, which offers treatments for dry eye disease, has announced that Fred Ellis has been named the company’s new CEO. Ellis comes to BlephEx with more than 29 years of experience with Alcon, a division of Novartis. While there, he held numerous positions of increased responsibility overseeing a wide range of commercial assignments, according to the announcement, which added, “He is recognized for having exceptional leadership skills and developing strong relationships within the eyecare community.” Ellis holds a B.S. degree from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo.
