LEWISVILLE, Texas— Hoya Vision Care has expanded its network of prescription laboratories by opening a new lab near Jackson, Miss.

“The opportunity to locally service independent ECPs in another market is exciting for us. The Jackson area is growing and we want to grow with it,” said Michael Dougher, chief operating officer for Hoya Vision Care.

The new laboratory is located at 289 Commerce Park Drive in Ridgeland, Miss. Operations at the new laboratory will be headed by general manager Mike Leach and customer service manager Kimberly Vaughan. Hoya territory managers Bob Aguiar and John DeHaven will be the primary local sales representatives.

Hoya will host an open house and reception for current and prospective customers on March 20.
