LOUISVILLE, Ky.— Kenmark, along with Perry Ellis International, have announced the renewal of their Original Penguin eyewear license. The renewal will span five years and includes optical eyewear, optical sunwear and retail sunwear. Kenmark will also expand the collection to include Original Penguin Junior, a line featuring smaller sizes of top-selling optical styles for boys ages 8-14, which will launch this summer.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with Original Penguin,” said Mike Cundiff, Kenmark CEO. “The brand has been a hit with our customers and our sales force alike and we are looking forward to continued success.”

Kenmark and Original Penguin began their partnership in 2011. Since then, the brand has become a top‐selling collection, with styles evoking the Original Penguin DNA. The eyewear incorporates throwback styling and pairs it with modern technology and techniques to enhance the fit, the company said.

“Kenmark is an industry leader in its category and the perfect partner for bringing the quality and aesthetic that the Original Penguin customer expects,” said Oscar Feldenkreis, president and chief operating officer of Perry Ellis International. “We are excited about the renewal of this agreement to bring a full product lifestyle to our customers and we look forward to continued success with Kenmark.”
