NORWALK, Conn.—L’Amy America has announced the promotions for key management employees as well as new appointments to L’Amy America’s management team. Phaedra Chernoff has been appointed corporate key accounts manager for L’Amy America. In her new position, she will continue to enhance L’Amy’s growth within optical’s key retailers. Chernoff’s career in optical includes key roles with Marchon and Safilo. David Chernoff has been appointed to regional sales manager for the Northeast region. His prior roles include district sales manager for Luxottica and Marcolin. Chernoff’s experience in building, training and supporting successful sales teams make him a great asset to L’Amy, the company said.

Cheryl Canning has been promoted to vice president of marketing and luxury/lifestyle brand development. “Canning has been an outstanding contributor to the success of L’Amy America for more than 20 years,” the company said. In this role, her responsibilities will include Canali, Glamour Editor’s Pick, Ann Taylor, Nicole Miller and TLG as well as marketing.

Daniel Shack has been promoted to vice president, product and business development. Shack has spent the last 12 years leading L’Amy America’s product development team and has taken on the additional role of leading L’Amy’s sales team.

Beatrice Belotti joins L’Amy America’s Milan-based brand management team. “She brings a wealth of brand and marketing experience to her new position working on Canali in addition to future European brands,” the company said.

Julia Clarke joins L’Amy America as associate brand manager. Clarke, a recent marketing graduate from Western Connecticut University, will oversee the Ann Taylor and TLG brands. This is her first position in optical.
