NORWALK, Conn.—L’Amy America is entering the the luxury eyewear market with the formation of a new luxury company, called Ultimate Vision USA. The move, the company said, comes via the acquisition of Florida-based Mad Vision and will extend L'Amy America's reach in the luxury eyewear category. “With the introduction of McLaren, Chris Craft, Henry Jullien and Plein Les Mirettes, we felt that it was very important to complement our current distribution by entering into the luxury eyewear market in a significant way," said Stephen Rappoport, CEO of L’Amy America.

"With Ultimate Vision USA, we are able to offer truly unique technologies and craftsmanship that is not currently available in the eyewear marketplace. Our Ultimate Vision team brings a wealth of experience in the luxury eyewear market and our teams will work closely together to ensure the new company’s success.”

The Ultimate Vision division “is a fantastic opportunity for our high-end optician partners all over the U.S. to differentiate their stores in a very distinctive and qualitative way and offer a new high level of patient experience," said Guillaume Pottecher, president of Ultimate Vision.

Ultimate Vision will exhibit the McLaren, Chris Craft, Henry Jullien and Pleins Des Mirettes brands at Vision Expo East at the L'Amy booth, the company said.
