ALISO VIEJO, Calif.—NVision Eye Centers has acquired Walman Eye Centers of Central and West Phoenix, Ariz. With this addition, the lasik and cataract surgery provider expands its number of locations in the west from the 22 centers it has already established throughout California, Nevada and Oregon.

“It has been an exciting year for both breakthroughs in ophthalmology and company growth," said NVision president James Pereyra, whose organization was among the first to perform the recent U.S. FDA-approved Kamra inlay procedure to treat aging eyes. "We could not be more excited or proud to gain such a high-caliber organization like Walman Eye Centers whose founder, Dr. Gerald Walman, has maintained a premium and highly respected practice since 1978.”

Dr. Walman said, “We are confident that NVision’s world-class surgeons and staff, who have made the NVision name the hallmark of ophthalmology, will continue to strengthen our community and patient relationships for decades to come.”
